I have been using skype services for a while now, both skypein and skypeout.
I have several skype accounts which I used to fund with vouchers purchased on the online marketplace called www.plati.ru. There is a number of resellers or dealers (I am not sure how they are related to skype) who sell voucher codes for webmoney or yandex-money. I purchased a lot of vouchers from different sellers for different accounts and all of the vouchers were successfully activated and I could order skypein and skypeout services and then use them for sometime.
But recently (Aug, 1) I tried to make a call with skype and found out that ALL of my accounts are blocked without a reason, I did not use my accounts within 2-3 weeks by that moment. How come does this happen while the accounts have positive balance? I paid for vouchers with webmoney which I bought for cash and what is the reason that I can't use my accounts now? I did not use paypal or credit cards or whatever so WHY do you lock them out? I doubt that the accounts are locked forever like paypal does and the funds are lost (each account has about $5).
So I really do not understand why and how did you freeze the accounts as there was no activity instead of funding the account ONE TIME with a voucher and then making calls with skypeout and receiving calls with skypein. I read about www.coller.ru here, I used this site to fund 3 of my accounts and paid with webmoney for it, now all accounts are locked out. If you call their website fraudulent, why do you allow them to fund skype accounts in the first place and then you lock accounts of unsuspecting users? Frankly, I really don't get where the fraud can take place here if you don't pay with credit card or paypal. And more, where do those 'fraud sellers' of the vouchers sold on www.plati.ru get voucher codes and why does skype allow to redeem those vouchers and then it still locks the account out??! If you know that it's a fraudulent voucher code or whatever (and how can it be?) then don't allow to activate it and say that the code is not valid etc.
So, basing on all that and the fact that I like how skype works (not billing of course) I would like to know how I can buy the voucher without using moneybookers, credit cards and paypal and be sure that my account would be in a good standing?
1) I can purchase visa gift card, can I use it to fund skype account?
2) Does skype sell the voucher codes as scratch-cards anywhere?
3) Can you list skype voucher resellers who are genuine skype partners/dealers?
4) What are other alternatives to buy skype vouchers for russian users? We have webmoney, yandex-money and other electronic payment systems funded with real cash only.
I would like to get these answers because the thing that happened to the accounts is REALLY annoying and it looks like paranoid paypal activity.
I believe that you care about your users and are interested to have more satisfied customers from Russia.
