Someone has evidently hacked into my skype account.
They have also changed the password and email address, so I hadto create a new skype account to post this message on the skype forum.
Very worryingly - I have an unauthorised payment made on my paypal account for skype. Luckily I received notiifcation of this from paypal. Evidently, they have used my skype credits and selected to buy more - I don't know because I can't log on to check. Don't they also have to logon to my paypal account to do this??
Also - despite my email / password being changed I received no notification from skype. How can this happen without someone hacking the skype database directly?
Searching the web - this seems to be not an uncommon occurence. So far I have billed Euro 9.74 in the last hour. I don't know how I can sever the link between my accounts skypeout and paypal and am terribly worried that I will wake up to have a horrible bill in the morning.
