I love the work you guys have done and think the current Skype version works very well. I have a major complaint about a minor feature that is missing, though. I realize that it is part of Skype 3.1, but I can't stand not having a typing indicator! It completely ruins any brief text-based conversation you're having because you don't know if they've seen the message and are planning on responding or if you should just keep saying more stuff to clarify. I would run Skype through Wine for this feature. It sounds so dumb and feels like I probably have OCD but the lack of a typing indicator drives me mad. Clearly you guys never use the chat or it would have been ported a long time ago. Can you do the rest of us a favor and bring it in early?

P.S. it would be nice to see it even when the members of the chat aren't visible.
