how hard did you look?

right-click on Live Tab and select Hide

can also be done by clicking View|Tabs and Panels|Live Tab (to untick the feature)

Hi Daniel,

I'm working on the same problem. Please check the user configuration file:

C:\Documents and Settings\<WindowsProfileName>\Application Data\Skype\<SkypeAccountName>\config.xml

and set the "ContentTab" from 1 to 0 for hiding it (<ViewContentTab>0</ViewContentTab>).

And by the way...you should disable the PromotionOption too.
(<ShowDynamicPromotions>0</ShowDynamicPromotions>). :)

Which software do you use for your rollout? Netinstall? ZEN?

Maybe someone can help me too. The main problem is not to modify a file. But I don't know when the file is avaliable, because it will be created during the first user log on und not during the software installation.

The second problem is, I don't know the full path because the user can create any accountname he wants to have (and the name is part of the path).

My prefered solution (would be)....Does anybody know if there exist anywere a template.xml file (or similar) that what will be used for every new useraccount? I yes I could modify this one and all upcoming accounts would get my default settings. (Only theoretical but maybe there is a solution in this way) ;)

Thank you for comments
Sascha

Oops, I found It's not the correct answer you wanted to hear. Yes - with the setting in the xml you can do everything remotely but the user is able to activate it again (with the menue). Sorry, then I've no idea. :/
