Hi,

Im trying to allow our bespoke database package to dial numbers via skype. The company who created says it supports dialing out via the software as long as there is a tapi driver for the device involved.

Is there a TAPI driver for skype at all ? Alternatively, is there some other way to get Skype to show up in the list of modem devices in Windows so that it can be dialled by the application?

Oliver,

did you find a solution? I am having the same issue and would like to find a TAPI driver so that I can utilize the benefits of skype while in my CRM package.

Kindly advise,

Robert

I doubt that you will get Skype to act as a modem. This discussed elsewhere.

By the way, I would like it if you gave me their e-mail
