Full Version: Skype Icon Missing
Skype Community > English > Skype for Linux

My Skype icon on the top toolbar that indicates that Skype is in session has disappeared or been deleted. Now if the main menu is closed I cannot activate Skype at all without a full system reboot.
I have tried to reinstall Skype but the problem persists. Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy. 32 bit Intel chipset.
Help would be appreciated

Some days ago, after installing Ubuntu 8.04 and the latest Skype version, I observed the same anomaly. I posted a similar message, but my English is so poor that I got no answer.

I am now obliged to go back to Windows. What a shame !
