I have a serious problem with Skype (SuSE version) on my SuSE Linux 9.0: it refuses to connect at the first, second,... nth time but then it sudently works. The messages, which I get are either:

'kay, solved! It was not the skype, making problems, it was the han-hi-len-ly (insert expletive here) router, which decided to block me. It started with skype, then ate IRC-connections and then HTTP (after that I decided to kill the person, who configurated it and throw the thing out of the window, but thank Bob the person reconfigured before I could do it!)
