HI!

I'm new to this and have been digging around the forum for a small business solution. Hopefully someone can help me.

I want to have a local phone number (skypein) that connects to a skype phone or computer and three additional skype phones. I need:

1. incoming calls to reception (read primary phone) to have the ability to be passed over to any of the the other three phones.
2. ability for all 3-4 phones to be on the phone at the same time.
3. easy calling within the system and conference calling too.

Anyone tried something similar, or know of a solid, good, and inexpensive solution?

Thanks, Wilson

Have a look at www.3cx.com which is a windows based software pbx. I believe that this allows access to many of the Internet VOIP suppliers, though Skype itself may not be amongst them - it would at least give you a comparative system.

Hey Wilson,

any luck with that?

I looked at
http://www.prettymay.net/callcenter_faq/In...mp;lang=en&

It does what you want & more. Free 15day trial, the cost after that is a little pricey for our application.
I will be interested if you find what you described, we would like the same thing.

For this you will need a PBX/Phone system. For more information see http://www.skypemypbx.com/.

A good inexpensive tested tried and true PBX/Phone system is the Avaya Partner ACS phone system - see http://www.avayapartneracs.com/ for more information on it.

On the Avaya Partner ACS system you can get the Newest Processor - ACS R 7 that comes with a built in capacity for up to 5 lines and 9 phones for $455.00. Phones can be added for as little as $85.00 each and an Automated Attendant for a greeting and call routing with up to 4 mailboxes can be added for as little as $150.00

You can get a Skype Gateway that can accomodate up to 4 skype lines on the Phone system for $1,250.00.

Let me know if this makes sense or if you have any other questions - Skype = TelephoneManOfAmerica or telephoneman@telephonemanofamerica.com
