does anyone know haw to turn of the process that makes all the phone numbers on the computer change to skype?

To disable the add-on feature (which can also be enabled again, if desired), go to:

1) Tools within your IE7 browser
2) Select Manage Add-ons
3) Select Enable or Disable Add-ons
4) Highlight Skype add-ons
5) Place a tick beside Disable (located on the botton right-hand corner)
6) Select OK
7) Reboot your computer

And, those annoying interfaced icons are gone!

why not just click on the Skype toolbar button once to toggle it off temporarily?
