I installed skype 2.0.0.63 on fedora 8 (x86) yesterday.
When i boot my laptop, skype is present in the notification area and the system freezes after about 10 minutes angry.png . It's a strong freeze. I cannot reboot properly my laptop. CTRL-ALT-F1 does not work, cannot login from another pc to reboot. The only option available is pushing the power button for several seconds (which I hate to do).
The freeze is systematic.
Since I remove Skype this morning, everything is working fine bigsmile.png .

Could you try the solution I've posted here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=4526841#post4526841

I know it's for Ubuntu, but Fedora 8 uses PulseAudio too, so there might be some relation.
