Hallöchen!

Skype 2.0 funktioniert prima mit meiner Suse 10.3 Version im Vollbildmodus,
Nehme ich die normale größe oder die doppelte, sehe ich nur einen Teilauschnitt der Webcam meines gegenübers.
Das kleine Fenster ist starr und lässt sich von der Größe nicht variieren!

Hat jemand ne Idee, was ich machen muss um die Webcam meines Gegenübers auch in klein zu sehen bzw die Größe des Popupfensters variieren zu können?

Dein Videotreiber unterstützt offenbar nicht alle für die Skype-Videoskalierung benötigten funktionen. Welche Grafikkarte und welche Treiberversion hast du? Die Ausgabe des Diagnosewerkzeuges xvinfo (in der Konsole ausführen) kann da weiterhelfen.

Aktualisiere den Treiber und/oder füge in der Datei /etc/X11/xorg.conf im Abschnitt "Video Device" diesen Eintrag hinzu:

Option "TexturedVideo" "on"

Hallo
ich habe das selbe Problem.
Kann zwar in der Konsole die datei xorg.conf aufrufen, aber finde keinen Eintrag "Video Device" nur "Section Device oder Input Device oder Monitor " in welcher section muß ich den Eintrag machen ?
kann mir da bitte jemand weiterhelfen, danke

Gleiches Problem wie vorheriger Poster - auf 3 verschiedenen Maschinen auf Suse 10.3 (lief vorher gut vor dem upgrade unter 10.1):

alle 3 Maschinen haben verschiedene NVIDIA Geforce auf AMD64 / X2 (installation des Treibers bei allen 3 direkt über das install script von Nvidia, nicht RPM).

Nun habe ich keine Section " Video Device" und auch wenn ich es unter "Device" als TexturedVideo "on" eintrage kommt mein xserver nicht hoch.

Wie genau sag ich's meiner xorg.conf? Sollte man es als skype bug melden?

Hier wird die "Device" Section angesprochen. Ob die Funktion unterstützt wird, hängt von dem jeweiligen Treiber ab. Bei den proprietären Treibern von nVidia und ATi eventuell mal in der mitgelieferten README nachlesen.
