I was wondering if skype has the feature similar to other messengers where the user can actually be invisible to selected contacts only. An example would be:

i have names:
1) mister A
2) mister B
3) mister C

the problem here is that i don't want to stay invisible, because if i do that.. i would be invisible with all contacts from mister A-C. well, i don't want that to happen. the only person i don't want to appear online is mister C. Is there a way where i can still remain seen online with mister A and mister B but appear offline to mister C.

thank you very much. i've searched and clicked skype options, menu, etc... but i can't seem to find it. i hope that someone can help me with this.

Block Mister C

Bad solution. Mister C will see that he is blocked ("?"),
and not Your fictitious offline status. And this may spoil
Your relationships with Mister C

Some time ago I was looking myself for a more satisfactory
solution, but failed to find it. It seems that it does not exist at all
in the present version of Skype...

I admit I don't really understand this situation.
Surely the "relationship" with the contact is already bad, otherwise why would anyone need to hide?

However, I always say "Give the world a choice".
So I agree, having the option to be selectively invisible would be a good thing.

Suppose that You would like to be invisible temporarily to ALL Mister X's,
and to communicate with certain Miss Y only
For example, You may wish Your picture and mood text
to be seen by one person only, to whom they are addressed.
But the present version of Skype (and of Skype API as well)
has no ways to make variable neither picture nor mood text:
all contacts will see one and the same picture and mood text.

So the only way to do this (without creating a special Skype account
for communicating with the preferred person) would be just
making You invisible for all contacts but one.
