I've got v2.0.0.27 which works ok apart from my webcam not working (logitech quickcam pro 5000) but I was wondering since the last beta was released some time ago are there any plans to release another beta before the final and when we might expect to see the next release?

Andy has said in another thread that they are hoping to get another beta released soon. I believe this will include a fix the issue some people are having with a lack of Xv ports on their system.

Seriously: The next beta will be released when it is finished, stabilized and has passed QA. And Skype won't ever release exact release dates. Rest assured though that we are working hard to get a great update out to you soon.

As mentioned before, we don't discuss release dates of products in advance.

However, having said that, I can tell you for sure there's been no specific work on the QCP5000 issue at the moment.

QCP9000 has been supported since uvc supported it.

There are some camera/UVC-specific issues, but no current issues in Skype with this camera.

My question about Beta releases: I don't find any sticky or other post announcing 2.0.0.43, nor what changes were made relative to 2.0.0.27. Was this beta release made without any announcement on this forum? I just discovered it now, and of course am curious about what is different...
