Hi!

As Debian user using a DELL notebook that requires the latest version of alsa I would like to know if there are any plans to upgrade skype 2.0 beta for linux for Debian to a higher version of libasound2 ?

This would make my world really brighter cool.png as that annoying noise on the line would disappear (microphone would be handled as it should)

Cheers
Peter

Hi -- what exactly do you mean with regards libasound2? You can use any version of ALSA after 1.0.11 with Skype.

Andy.

Not true. Using libasound 1.0.14 results in a Skype crash when I login
