Hi,

I always have 1~2s of latency when calling ordinary phones,
while nearly no latency when calling computers. Is that normal?

Btw, I hear google wants to purchase skype. I hope we can then
have it open sourced and easily to be improved.

Picasa and Google Earth were acquired by Google from third parties and they are not open source. I don't see why they should release Skype's source.

Exactly. Just pray they do not force skype through a wine backend as they do in Picasa!! Btw, where is this news??
