Hi, and thanks a lot for getting video working on linux. I'm loving seeing my niece and talking to my sister in china.
That said, I have a strange problem. I'm running gutsy with a logitech quickcam orbit. The camera is installed fine, it works great in the test window of skype and in some other applications. But when I'm chatting with someone, after different amount of times, the bottom half of my video window will get "stuck" on two or 3 frames playing over and over again, while the top hald carrys on fine. Both me and the other person can see this. I can fix it for a little while by stopping my video and starting it again. This cam uses the v4l2 drivers if that helps.
Another problem I have is that maybe 2/3rds of the time when I start a video chat, the window looks like it wants to display video, the fullscreen and other buttons are there, but the video is just grey. I thought this might be a result of compiz, so I tried it under metacity several times with the same results. The only way I can get it to work is to try the call repeatedly until video shows up.
Thanks!
