I've been having trouble with a intermittent LOUD static noise. I'm using:

usb headset/mic (logitec) used for output
Mac G5 X 10.4.11
cable internet
iSight - used for input
2.7 beta

The issue started when I upgraded to video. If I place the call on hold briefly, the static stops for a few seconds. It's impossible to talk during the static but the video works fine. I've seen this issue in other places on the forums, but it doesn't seem as if anyone has a solution. HELP!
