Skype Add-in makes Vista Internet Explorer 7.0.6x hang!!

Visiting various sites makes my IE 7 hang where only option is to kill IE process (with Process Exporer using Ctrl-Alt-Del). The machine is otherwise completely frozen. If I only disable the two Skype Add-in’s then everything works as normal.

Note: I have all Windows Updates, as of today, applied to my Vista Ultimate image.

suggest you download SKYPE but take the option out to link to I.E.

I have had the same, incredibly frustrating, problem for the last few months also. When ever I opened random web pages, Internet Explorer would hang and I would need to use Task Manager to close.

Disabling the add-in for IE solved it immediately. I have installed the latest version of Skype in the last week, so it appears the problem is in both version 3.5 and 3.6

I don't use the IE add-in so it doesn't matter to me...
