Very new to Linux, got the disks for Fiesty Fawn and installed on two computers. Easy installation, no problems. Tryint to install Skype now. Downloaded the version for FF. When opening the package installer I get an error message:
Dependancy is not satisfiable: libqt-core
I am totally lost here as I am a lifetime Windows trying to learn new, we live in Belize, Central America so information is difficult to obtain, most still use Win 98 here! Thanks for any help. Dave

Hi Dave

I am a newbie with Linux, but this is my comment (I use Ubuntu 7.10 - Gutsy Gibbon). You need an Internet connection for downloading the missing file.
Click on System/Administration/synaptic. Then search libqt4-core and install it.

OK got back to this computer finally. Went in to System/Admin/synaptic and there was no file listed that I needed there was one similar but it was listed for KDE and said it would conflict with other versions. Any other suggestions? Thanks for any help, thisis getting frustrating. Dave
