So once again I'm sitting here in an all too quiet house where everybody else is off doing something and I'm lacking either the money or the motivation to go out myself and be a little more social.
However, this being the first time in a long time that we have internet at the house, I'm also making good use of it. I can't pull myself away.

I'm originally from the UK and moved to Mexico (Playa Del Carmen) about 16 months ago now to help out with my family's business and maybe find my own track to run on too. It's getting there, but in the meantime life in this little coastal tourist town can be tedious and...considering my lack of Spanish, this town can also be very antisocial. It's not easy for me to strike up a conversation with someone who is most likely not going to understand me.

I'm not asking for Spanish speakers typically, I have no language preference. Heck, I have no people preference. A conversational partner can be anybody. I'm just looking for the oportunity to talk, listen and be listened to when the nights are as quiet as this one.
