I have a contact that I see as online.
But recently, when I try to send an instant message, it won't be delivered, even days after I sent it. That little circle shows up beside the message, and it just won't go through, although I see that the person has been online several times since I sent messages.
Also, when I try to call, it won't even ring.
I'm using the latest version of Skype, Windows XP on a fairly new notebook.
All other contacts seem to work fine, but I just can't get in touch with this one. We've had a successful video call a few weeks ago, so it worked before.
Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx.

is it possibly that your contact has blocked you in their system?

Well, I thought that if you are being blocked, you would not see the contact as being online...? And don't you get a message if you try to contact and are blocked?

OK, now I have tested it myself.
I signed in with different accounts on 2 different computers, and here is what happened:
When you are being blocked, you can't see the contact that blocked you as online. When you send a chat message, it won't be delivered... it just gets stuck with that little circle that says "not yet delivered".
So, since I can still that certain contact as being online, he coudn't have blocked me. However, my messages don't get through...
I just don't get it!!!
Has anyone had similar experiences?
