Can anyone give me information on how the latest version of Skype Pocket PC works with the HP rx3115? Are there any problems, I am going to be using it primarily to make SkypeOut calls using a Plantronics Bluetooth Headset.

I use Skype on an rx3715 (very close to the rx3115) without problem, except that you can not use a Bluetooth headset with this iPaq model, as HP has not implemented the "headset" or "audio gateway" profiles.

So if you want to use Skype, you'll have to use the internal microphone and a set of standard earphones.

Because of this, sound quality is not very good...

Which ROM version are using?
There is an updated ROM 1.01.11 that is updated from 1.01.06.

Can anyone else get their bluetooth headset to work with a rx3115?

I am using 1.01.11 FRA and Bluetooth software 1.5.0.2600. I've done my tests with 1.01.06 FRA and 1.01.10 FRA but do not believe that 1.01.11 FRA improved the Bluetooth area.

So...I am upgrading to the hx2415 ipaq! :-)

optimisticmiller, looks like you're my man. Do you use the hx2415 with a microphone headset (4 connector 3,5mm) or a bluetooth headset? Can't find info anywhere (internet and phone) on whether it has a jack that allows it.
