Hi all,
I am looking for a box that can accomplish the following: 1. does not require always running computer 2. Combines my regular line phone and skype phone 3. makes use of the existing phone - I am not looking for a cell like phones or headsets. I really want to use my existing , very nice phone with base keypad, a wireless set I can move around with and REALLY GOOD speakerphone. Also, I've never seen anything with base keypad? Is it out of fashion? Cheers, Barak |

Don't listen to 'Iamadoofus'... his name says it all... ;-)
The D-Link unit requires that your computer be on, all the time -- thereby not a great choice, since your number one feature was a pc-less solution. At any rate, there is NOT a pc-less adapter that allows you to use your own phone system with Skype. We have no indication when/if this product will hit the market.
