So how would we do this, we have a business or three people right now, two sales reps and one designer.
What I want to do is to be able to have a call come in and it two ring for both of the sales reps and one of them picks up. I also want to be able to have if a sales rep is on the line and the person on the line would like to talk to a designer be able to transfer the call to the designer. How would we go about doing this, do we need to sign up for multiple skype pro accounts, like one for sales and one for designer, and sign up for multiple skype in accounts as well. In addition to that we would like conference calling. All of the calls that would be coming in are going to most likely be from a landline or cell phone. We are located in the United States of America so I was also wondering if national calls are free with Skype Pro? |

A SkypeIn number could be purchased for one Skype name, lets call it xyz.business, both sales people could log on using the Skype name xyz.marketing, when calls are received via the SkypeIn number assigned to xyz.business, both sales people would be able to take the call if needed via their computer. Here is more information about Call Transfer, which does require Skype Pro for Skype to SkypeOut or SkypeIn to SkypeOut numbers. Skype to Skype call transfers are free. However, you will still need to be on the unlimited plan as well. to enjoy free call transfers for the other types of transfers. This would allow you to do all the things you wish to do as a small business without any need to invest in a hardware based phone solution, additionally as you grow, you could assign one person to use the xyz.business Skype name to route calls received to others with no changes to your phone number or cost of hardware. For more information on Call Transfer as well as a free program Skype users and businesses can use please see this: http://share.skype.com/sites/devzone/2007/...l_transfer.html I am the author of the free call transfer program for Skype, so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask them here. -------------------- |

Hi ~ Conference calling is a built-in feature within Skype: 1) From the Skype Menu Bar ...Select Call 2) Select Start Conference Call 3) The balance is pretty straightforward (any questions, let me know). If you purchase the SkypeUnlimited plan mentioned in the previous posting, it will enable your outgoing long distance calls to be free to any number (land-line, cell, etc.) in Canada and the USA (costing only $29.99 USD per annum). Good luck in your new business venture! -------------------- <><><><><> ~ gala.rea ~ |

It seems to me that you have two recent topics that are related.
http://forum.skype.com/index.php?showtopic=86841&hl= http://forum.skype.com/index.php?showtopic=88180&hl= To make it easier for everyone, I suggest we stick to this one from now on. Thanks. -------------------- IMPORTANT: No animals were harmed in the transmission of this message, although the yorkshire terrier next door is living on borrowed time, let me tell you. Those of you with an overwhelming fear of the unknown will be gratified to learn that there is no hidden message revealed by reading this warning backwards, so just ignore that Alert Notice from Microsoft. However, by pouring a complete circle of salt around yourself and your computer you can ensure that no harm befalls you and your pets. More.

Check out PrettyMay Call Center for Skype which allow you to setup a Skype IVR system easily, just like "press 1 for sales, press 2 for designers....", aslo it offeres the feature of transferring call between agents. -------------------- |
