bigsmile.png Hola!

Sorry, but my english is not very good... but...

I've a strange problem: every time I charge my account, I lose my money! crying.png
So, this is the story...
1) I charged my account for 2 times, and everything is all right!
So, I used my credit card ONLY with my skype account (fotografiadautore), and in the 3rd time, skype cancelled my order.
So, I try again...
2) I re-charged my account: the problem is the same... skype cancelled my order!

So    I made a new credit card and I use this card FOR THE FIRST time to buy a new skype credit!

3) ...the same thing! crying.png

HELP ME! :? What's my problem? How can I do for charge my skype account?

THANK U!!! tongueout.png ...and happy new year!

You probaly reached your limit.

As a new purchaser, someone who has only started purchasing in the past 3 months, you are restricted from purchasing again until you have gone below 5 €. This restriction is lifted as soon as your balance is below 5 € and is lifted permanently once you have been a Skype Credits purchaser for 3 months.

You can view your order history to see when your first order was and when the 3 month restriction will be lifted:
https://secure.skype.com/store/myaccount/orders.html

If this is not the case, please go here http://support.skype.com/?_a=tickets&_m=submit and submit a ticket to Billing/Payments with full details of your problem.

Hello,

As a new purchaser, someone who has only started purchasing in the past 3 months, you are restricted from purchasing again until you have gone below 5 €.

You can view your order history to see when your first order was and when the 3 month restriction will be lifted:
https://secure.skype.com/store/myaccount/orders.html

New users are also restricted to 20€ credit per month using credit card, 30€ using Paypal and 100€ per month using Moneybookers or Bank transfers.

This restriction is lifted permanently once you have been a Skype Credits purchaser for 3 months.

We suggest you to subscribe to Skype Groups, which is free, if you want to be able to buy more credits. You can find all information under : www.skype.com/products

We apologise for the inconvenience.

Best regards

Yes, you should be able to place another 2 orders with your credit card.

Please remember that this restriction only applies to one payment method at a time and only for 3 months.

Other payment methods will still be available to you.

I have been buying skype out time for more thant 6 monthts now, and i have today more or less the same problem:

Désolé, mais vous avez atteint votre limite d’achat mensuelle. Veuillez nous rendre visite le mois prochain pour acheter plus de crédits.

Sorry, but this does seem to be a skype team default, the customer, even unexperienced, is not the origin of the problem...

We were experiencing a temporary problem that prevented a number of users from purchasing via our webstore. This problem has now been resolved and you can attempt to place a new order.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.

That policy really needs some rethinking in light of the basic options people are likely to want to purchase and their price when compared with the limit. If you have any influence with the policy makers at Skype, pull some strings.

It does suggest a moderately costly workaround, though. If I place a four hour and ten minute SkypeOut call my balance will be below 5 €. That's the costly/wasteful part, but at that point I should be able to purchase another US$10 of Skype credit and use that and some of the remaining balance to get the SkypeIn. Assuming I set an alarm clock and hang up on time.

Stupid policy.

This policy sucks. When I first started using skypeout, I was overseas, and got stuck with only 3 cents of credit because I had no other way to fund my account. Thanks skype, for leaving me up shit creek.
