Hi,

i've been busy for two days now, trying to install the M34 USB. I first installed the software from the cd, rebooted, did firmware update and the computer crashes while upgrading.

Then I several times uninstalled everything and tried again but everytime when I open "Gigaset M34 Software" I get the message that: The Gigaset M34 is not found, check if the adapter is connected and installed.

Now, about three hours ago I downloaded the new version v30 (from siemens site) 64 MB it was. So I first uninstalled everything, even skype and then installed from the downloaded version and I still get the same error.

Edit:
I tried to install it on an other computer (windows 2000) and here it's like the only driver that it want to install is the cordless Device Update. When I look at the properties of the hardware it says that: Windows can't load the drivers, you need to restart your computer.

But I restarted it like 10 times allready. Could there be something wrong with the M34 Card? The light of the M34 USB is orange and flickering.

It's like I can't install all of the drivers ...

I hope somebody can help me out.

Hi Thijs M (Dutch I presumme )
First, did you buy a M34 compatible Siemens Gigaset from the C- or S-Class? You did not mention the type you have!

Specialy the 8.) M34 USB - Configuration: You must register the M43 USB with the base station. Put the base station in registration mode (described in the documentation) and then register the M34 USB from the M34 USB software. Nothing will work if you don't do this successfully.

Before M34 in recognised properly (so even when Siemens skype ver. 1.0.0.100 ) is not installed yet, rebooting must have take place already 3 times!
(One time there is prompted: "Now you can place the M34 USB Dect stick")

Also note in documentation: The hardware drivers that should be visable! Windows > System > Hardware (-Drivers)
And in the Skype main installation menu: Actions > Installment > Sound devices must be: Cordless Audio Interface (all 3 of them!) Listed here!:

Yes, I bought a Siemens C340 Gigaset. This evening I'm going to try again and hope it works now...

I allready installed skype, but how can I delete everything in the register? Do I need a special program for that?

Hi Thijs M, I presume "Thijs" is a Dutch name!?

I use the freeware RegCleaner 4.3. build 780

At the top of this program select: (Extra) =Tools > (Register opschonen) =Registry cleanup > (Voer ze alle uit) Do them all

After trying a million times I still get (in the software program):The Gigaset M34 is not found, check if the adapter is connected and installed.

Also, I can't connect to skype with the version on the CD (V 1.0.0.22). Maybe someone want's to help me via remote desktop?

I was able to install the missing driver now, but still, no M34 USB was found...

Edit2: Okay, now I think everything is installed, the M34 USB was found! But I still don't have a connection with my C340... I even put them next to each other and they still didn't find each other

Edit 3: I found the problem. The problem was that the computer got stuck while it was updating the firmware. Now for the first time (after about 20 times trying) ... IT WORKS
