Change devices easily
its supposedly a new feature in 3.8, how does it work ?

I regularly switch between internal audio, an USB headset and a USB webcam/mic and internal speakers. I would like Skype to automatically use the USB headset if its connected, and the other combo if its not. When I installed 3.8 the "whats new" promises:
"Change devices easily Change your headset, headphones or microphone without having to touch your settings." Which sounds great. But how do I use it ? |

Sorry Norman this should not be the case as Skype have stated that 3.8.0.115 will do it all for you and it is not acting as it should according to this post. -------------------- Regards

I am having the same issue. I was working fine till this new upgrade. Now Skype refuses to use the items I have selected to communicate. When I change things manually...it gets changed back or it just decided to mute itself. I'd like to roll back to the previous version. This is not making me a happy Skyper.
