SKYPE SUPPORT

There are several things which make SKYPE difficult to use. First, the website is not user friendly. Trying to figure out how to solve a problem can take weeks. Second, SKYPE support is NOT helpful AT ALL. They don't answer the questions posed to them and they take forever to answer you. Third, SKYPE's whole reason for being in existance is because people thought it would be easier and cheaper than other phone comapnies. Without good customer service competition will eventually run SKYPE out of business. Yahoo, Google, ATT and other larger companies will get into this market more deeply and that will be the end of SKYPE. People will pay more for better service.

SKYPE MUST get with the program and have a real person that you can chat with or actually speak to and they must redo the website to be easier to navigate.

Also they need to allow people to make there own decisions regarding adding skype credit amounts and timing. They shouldn't restrict me to there own preconceived notions of my usage.

I've submitted support requests twice and have yet to receive any response from Skype. Our Business account has allocated SkypeOut credit to my personal account, deducted it from the Business account balance weeks ago, shows it as credit on my personal account (within the Business Console), however, the credit is not available on my personal account. To simply not even bother to respond to support requests is pitiful...

You are so right. I have a problem with SkypeIn option. My number stopped working. No one can call in. I asked for the explanation and no answer yet.

Second issue is :

how do I post a fresh question on this forum. I looked for info and instruction for so long and so many times and can not find anything on this.

Goto the forum you wish to post on, i.e. using these forums. Look for the green circle with the white plus sign that says New Topic, the rest should be easy.

So, another week has gone by and still no response from Skype Customer Support. To summarize, they took the cash, didn't give me the Skype credit and wont respond to any of my support requests. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to resolve that doesn't involve taking legal action against Skype?

My problem is exactly the same as Frank's.

I must have my SkypeIn working. It doesn't. Where do I get help?

Neither can I see how to start a new topic (not a new reply).

It is driving me absolutely crazy and means that I'm losing business both because my skypein isn't working and because I spend so much time looking for help.

Look at the top right of your screen when you are in a main forum. It says "New Topic".

Also keep this in mind:

The days just keep rolling by without Skype support even bothering to respond or straighten out my problem. Looks like Skype simply took the cash and ran. I've seen some poor customer service in my lifetime, however, Skype wins this prize hands down. At least in the other cases, we didn't get ripped off like has happened here.

Hello,
Credit has not been allocated to your personal account.
Credit has been allocated to your username which is also the administrator of the Business Control Panel.
